Hypothesis
I think that the plants receiving 24 hours of light will grow the tallest because they will have received more energy from the lamps, in a given time, to produce more glucose and cellulose through photosynthesis, thereby allowing the plant to grow taller. Plants require sunlight, along with water and carbon dioxide, to create the glucose and cellulose that provide energy for the plant. With more light than the rest, the 24 hour plant should have the most energy and grow the tallest after 30 days. Conversely, the plant receiving the least amount of light (the 6 hour trial group) should grow the least.
